AAGT Parent Institute



9th Annual AAGT Parent Institute to be held September 23, 2017, 9-3pm at the Phoenix Coding Academy.  This is a one day event geared towards the needs of Arizona’s parents of gifted and talented children.  This year’s guest speaker will speak on “Developing Grit and a Flexible Mindset in Gifted Children.”  Click here for the flier. There will be a children’s program for grades K-5. Click here for registration info. #Gilbert Talks Kids - An exciting day of interactive classes and workshops, including a key note presentation by Dr. Michele Borba, a globally recognized educational psychologist and parenting, bullying and character expert whose aim is to strengthen children’s empathy and resilience, and break the cycle of youth violence.  Included are additional presentations by the Gurian Institute and notMYkid organization during break-out sessions for parents and children/young adults.  For ages 10 and older.  9am-3pm at Gilbert High School.
